Onion skin paper is thin, slightly translucent, and remarkably durable. Used for centuries, it develops a gentle cockled finish with time and writing that feels less like wear and more like weathering. The journal begins to look like it has lived.
Inside are 320 pages of blank onion skin paper. A reversible insert provides a line guide on one side and a dot grid on the other when needed. The linen cover opens flat and stays there. Smyth-sewn binding. Matching ribbon marker.

The ghosting effect
The translucency of onion skin paper allows writing sketches and reflections to softly appear beneath each page creating depth, texture, and visual layering over time.
