The Linen Soft Cover Cahier is designed to be an everyday companion. Lightweight enough to travel anywhere and sturdy enough for daily use, it keeps the experience of onion skin paper close at hand without asking much of you.
Slip the smallest size into a pocket. Tuck a larger one into a leather cover or backpack. Keep notes, sketches, observations, and ideas wherever life takes you.
Each cahier includes blank onion skin paper, thin and slightly translucent with a durability that exceeds expectations. A reversible insert provides a line guide on one side and a dot grid on the other when needed. The linen cover is saddle-sewn for flexibility and ease of use.

The ghosting effect
The translucency of onion skin paper allows writing sketches and reflections to softly appear beneath each page creating depth, texture, and visual layering over time.

Though incredibly thin, onion skin paper was originally designed to travel across oceans without adding weight. Strong fibers allow the pages to hold up beautifully through years of writing.

The notebook is perfection. (Although they sent me the wrong color, I ordered green and got blue) but the paper is amazing and just has that feel. I am looking forward to switching up my journals this year with the Onion Skin paper!

I have been obsessed with writing in this amazing journal. I love everything about it, especially the crinkly pages, and that it's fountain pen friendly. I can't imagine journaling on any other kind of paper.
This paper is a whole new experience for my mark making and journaling. Takes watercolor and ink nicely. Can carry it with me all the time. Really enjoying this onion skin soft cover.
The paper is quite beautiful, lovely to the touch and incredible to write on. However, all three notebooks arrived with damaged corners as they were placed inside the cotton bag along with the hard cover journal and other notebooks I purchased. I can appreciate the minimal aesthetic and packaging and I’m thrilled no plastics were involved in the packaging process. However, something as simple as cardboard or cardstock corner protectors would have been ideal to minimize any damage the product might sustain in shipping. Needless to say, I’m disappointed especially given the cost of the product, not to mention what was originally intended to be gifted isn’t in a giftable condition.
